The backing can tightly hold stitches so an expert sews through this foam easily to make pleats. Sew foam is durable, soft and lasts for a longer period of time. Closed-cell foam
Last but not the least, closed-cell foam comes with an ability of moisture absorption. This ability makes the foam buoyant. Closed-cell foam is generally mased of PVN. As compared to polyurethane foam, closed-cell foam is 3 times firmer. This foam is extensively used in marine industries. Thin sheets of this foam are mainly glued to other foams.
